he Xavier University Williams College of Business, Department of Criminal Justice and the Xavier Leadership Center have partnered to create a Public Sector Leader Certificate Program (PSLCP). The Public Sector Leader Certificate Program is designed for leaders in law enforcement, public safety and city management seeking to develop the knowledge, skills and tools required to successfully lead their organizations. Additionally, participants learn how to apply these skills when they work with others during day-to-day operations, where decision-making, critical thinking, and leadership are required. This understanding is especially helpful during high-stress situations, such as active-shooter situations, fires, accidents, environmental crises, political meetings, press conferences, as well as daily internal and external issues, which require strategic planning, personnel management, and communication.
