One day you’re a loving mother looking to do your part to help your family and community. The next day you’re the subject of a federal lawsuit. Such is the journey of Conway, Arkansas, stay-at-home mom turned uber-successful franchisee Rhea Lana Riner, founder and namesake of Rhea Lana’s Children’s Consignment.  This critical incident explores the dynamic between how the owner of a boutique second-hand children’s clothing consignment responded to an existential threat imposed upon her business by the United States Department of Labor.
