Integral Ecology for Sustainable Social Impact: The University of San Francisco’s Development Practicum and Collaboration with Foundation for Sustainable Development in Jinja, Uganda

This paper presents the community-based and social impact models emerged in a university-community collaboration and course-based analysis. Inspired by the social values integrated in sustainable development and Laudato Si encyclical, the paper offers insights on how to integrate experiential learning and promoting organizational learning through community-based social impact analysis. It presents international challenges and integrated solutions for a graduate level pedagogical model for the promotion of asset based community and organizational capacity development.
