Carnage at Creepyworld
Around Halloween 2011, 17-year-old Jessica Rue was performing her role as an actor in a Creepyworld haunted attraction near Fenton, Missouri. Jessica’s job was to work alone and scare guests as they walked through a gory bathroom scene that was drenched in fake blood. According to police reports, Jessica somehow slipped off a tub and became caught in a noose that was a part of the haunted scenario. Although Jessica later recovered, she now lives with a neurological deficit and other disabilities. This tragic incident has left the Creepyworld entertainment group in a quandary: how can they continue to operate their haunted venues safely?
