Harvesting asparagus, ag worker shortage and the H-2A Visa

This is an "embryo case." The desired outcome is to highlight the decades-long worker shortage in some business sectors for undergraduate students, introduce them to the realities of immigrant and non-immigrant employment-based visas, and explain the challenges that employers face if they need workers and try to legally hire workers using the employment-based visas available to them, with the specific focus here of the H-2A visa process and a family-owned farm in Idaho.
