Walmart China: Responding to the accusations of forced labor in Xinjiang and adapting to the pressures in the Chinese market (Embryo case)

This case demonstrates the challenges of doing business across the U.S. and China. Walmart China must take a stand against exploiting people from Xinjiang but must be careful not to hurt its competitive position. Chinese social media users call for a boycott against Walmart for not carrying products from Xinjiang. Walmart needs to adapt to the pressures of operating in China.
