The distinctiveness of the Jesuit approach to education can be mystifying to newcomers to the tradition. It has its own language, phrases like Magis, Cura Personalis, etc., and its own teaching methodology, the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm. In this interactive workshop, participants will be exposed to a brief history of Jesuit education, develop familiarity with the five aspects of the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, and learn about resources to access additional materials.
Note: this submission suggests a workshop, not a paper presentation. I previously have presented such workshops at multiple CJBE/IAJBS meetings.
