I help organizations achieve their ideals of success while also creating a workplace where peop
le want to show up each day (well, at least most days) and give it their all.
My specialty is people. I especially enjoy working with managers to build and motivate teams that perform at their highest levels. I’ll show you how to get the most out of your people—while also showing them how much you value them and their contributions. Together, you will achieve more.
My background begins with an undergraduate degree in business and a master’s degree in psychology. These disparate interests allow me to blend hard, technical skills with softer, interpersonal skills. I deeply understand how organizations function and what their needs are, and I intuitively “get” people and their motivations. Over time and through hands-on operational experience, I’ve figured out how to make both work together—in ways that are productive and satisfying for all involved.
I am also an experienced training and development specialist. My work includes assessing organizational and individual training needs and designing, developing, and delivering performance-based training programs. I regularly teach and coach other trainers through bespoke train-the-trainer courses. I have created and delivered these types of programs at a variety of summer camps as well as for the Indianapolis Zoo, smithink, the Mall of America in Minnesota, Sunway Resorts in Malaysia, and Nickelodeon Experience Design (based in Orlando, Florida, with partner locations across North America, Europe, and Asia).
While I’m a big fan of efficiency and effectiveness, I try to never lose sight of the key idea that people matter—and nothing else matters as much. Treating others with dignity and humanity is woven through everything I do.
