Professor Caslin, Founder of GCSEN Foundation and Fulbright Scholar for 4P Social Entrepreneurship for People, Profit, Planet and Place, brings a passion for the transformative power of entrepreneurship along with 4 decades of proven success in helping found, lead and serve social enterprise and business venture development ranging from youth and adult entrepreneurship education to sustainable community development. GCSEN Foundation is a global leader in social entrepreneurship education efforts for Higher Education and Adult Learners through innovative programs and learning technologies and has certified (24) Social Venture Research Institute Fellows and certified (600) Social Entrepreneurs since its founding in 2015. He has a broad range of corporate experiences from his work with over 40 firms across 12 industry sectors as both an outside strategic consultant, inside operational leader and investor via Angel Fund, Venture Capital and Private Equity. Professor Caslin is recognized as a respected entrepreneur practitioner, faculty member and Social Entrepreneurship thought leader through his work as co-founder and CEO of NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship-founded in ‘88) which has certified 1.8 M teenpreneurs in 14 countries and 30 U.S. states thru a network of 4,000 Certified Entrepreneurship Teachers. He has helped raise over $200M for various social venutes. His education and leadership roles have been with Babson College and Olin Graduate School of Business, Investor’s Circle, Rising Tide Capital, SJF Institute and Wheaton College (MA), CUNY-Baruch College-Zicklin Business School, SUNY New Paltz Business School and St. Peter’s University Business School. He has provided Expert witness testimony before the United Nations, The White House and U.S.Congress, DEMOS and Atlantic Philantropies. Fellowships include The Fund for American Studies at Georgetown University, The Economics Science Laboratory of Nobel Laureate Dr. Vernon Smith at University of Arizona , The Gordon Cook Conversations for the future of the UK, The Norfolk World Fellows Program for Urban Connurbation Sustainability and is a Price- BABSON SEE/Appel Prize Winner and FULBRIGHT Scholar for 4P Social Entrepreneurship.
