Sas has a love for international business, the environment and life-sustaining business models. The story behind his love for sustainability and sustainable business development began at Sinal do Vale, a non-profit based in Rio de Janeiro with a focus on environmental sustainability through eco-tourism and social projects around the world. Having conducted part of his MBA in Brazil, Sas was introduced to Sinal from its onset in January 2012. By creating partnerships between Sinal and Jesuit universities in the USA, Brian is one of Sinal’s first volunteers, is a founding member, and a long-time participant in serving its sustainable mission and vision. In his day-to-day, he serves as the Global Business Strategist for Bak USA, a clean-tech social enterprise that looks to set a new standard around a more sustainable manufacturing process of mobile computers built in the US. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with majors in International Relations, Spanish, and French, along with an MBA in International Business and Global Supply Chain Management from Canisius College. Sas has lived and worked throughout western Europe and Latin America, and is fluent in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. He aspires to always be the best agent of positive change that he can be for people and environment.
