Ernestina Giudici is full professor in Economics and Business Management at the Department of Economics and Business Sciences in University of Cagliari. Her research focuses mainly on issues related to business communication, storytelling and digital storytelling, humanistic management, sustainability and neurotourism.
Giorgia is a practitioner and active researcher in the field of management studies. She works for Italy’s export credit agency since 2013 and has been a for-profit business consultant for over ten years. She is a certified benefit impact manager and an endorser of Responsible Research in Business Management.
Giorgia completed her Ph.D. in Civil Economics at LUMSA University, her MBA at the Luiss Guido Carli Business School and her undergraduate studies- her BA in business administration and her minor in international relations at John Cabot University and University of Wales. She did her study abroad at the American University of Paris, who will always have a special place in her heart, and summer schools at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università degli Studi di Trento. Her research interests lie in the area of sustainability, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, with particular attention to new hybrid forms of business- such as benefit corporations and social purpose companies- and practices- such as Teal and Flourishing.
Giorgia lives with her husband, and together they like to enjoy good food, wine and beer (which they produce themselves). On top of her double practitioner/researcher life Giorgia likes hiking, art expositions and her bicycle.

Claudio Baccarani is a full professor of Economics and Business Management at the Department of Business Administration in the University of Verona. He is a member of Editorial Advisory Board for the research Journals: Sinergie, Sviluppo e Organizzazione, Journal of Marketing Trends, International Journal of Quality and Service Sciences, The TQM Journal, and Finanza Marketing e Produzione.
He is co-director of the Toulon-Verona network which has since 1998 been organising annual conferences in European universities on Total Quality Management and on the quality of services with particular reference to quality in higher education. He is president of Address and Monitoring Committee of the CUEIM (Consorzio Universitario di Economia Industriale Manageriale) between 25 italian university.
His particular areas of academic interest regard: entrepreneurship, territorial marketing, quality management, innovation and the organizational well-being.
Maria Della Lucia is associate professor of Economics and Business Management at the University of Trento in Italy and a member of EMASUS Research Group – Economics, Management and Sustainable Consumption.
Her current research interests include local and regional development, destination management and governance, sustainability, cultural-led regeneration, creative tourism, mobility management and economic impact analysis as investment decision making tools. Tourism and culture are the main interest domains and field research focuses primarily on fragmented and community-based areas, particularly Alpine and rural destinations and small cities.
She has authored a monograph focused on local development and culture and authored and co-authored journal publications in Tourism Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Information Technology and Tourism, International Journal of Management Cases and Journal of Agricultural Studies and book chapters in volumes published by CABI, Springer, Emerald Publishing, ESV Erich Schmidt Verlag, Palgrave MacMillan and Routledge.
Luisa Varriale is an Associate Professor in Business Administration at the Department of Motion and Wellness Sciences in the University of Naples “Parthenope”. Her research and teaching activities focus on event management, project management, mentoring relationships and diversity management in different organizational contexts.
She is a member of several international associations, such as Academy of Management, Italian Chapter of Association for Information Systems (ItAIS), European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS), Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP), International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) and Italian Association of Business Organization (ASSIOA).
She is the associate editor of the journal International Review of Business Research Papers and also a reviewer of several prestigious magazines in the management area, such as Tourism Management, Scandinavian Journal of Management and Journal of Human Resource Management.
Fabrizio Maimone is invited “Professore a Contratto” (Contract Professor) of Business Organization and Management at LUMSA University and Lecturer of Communication and Management at LUISS Business School, in Rome. He is also member of the Research Group on Post-bureaucratic Organizations at LUMSA.
His current areas of research are: communication and HRM in complex organizational systems, theory of flexible and post-bureaucratic organizations, new forms and models of organizational change, intercultural communication and management, “inclusive” culture and management in transnational organizations. He is also a Management Consultant and Trainer.
He collaborates with Italian and multinational private and public companies, as Advisor and Management Consultant and Trainer, supporting Top Management, HRM, Training and Internal Communication Functions in the planning and implementation of strategies and projects and in the design and delivery of learning activities.
