In this preface for the special issue of the Journal of Case Studies (JCS), published jointly by the Society for Case Research (SCR) and the Global Jesuit Case Series (GJCS), I want to present a “case” for teaching case research, especially at faith-based institutions. The thrust of this argument is that teaching case research simultaneously serves the needs of faculty development, faith integration in teaching, and support for business school accreditation.
