One of the most significant challenges educators face is making material relevant to students. Students want to know that what they are learning in the classroom is something they will actually use in their lives. There are many ways instructors can connect classroom learning to realistic situations. These methods may range from hypothetical exercises that present a simple situation to complex simulations or to practical simulations, including virtual reality exercises, that completely immerse the student in a situation.
