Our hope in this brief introduction to the special issue of the Journal of Jesuit Business Education (JJBE) is to address some initial and critical questions for understanding the work of the talented writers and educators whose articles are assembled in this volume. We provide a brief glimpse into the elements that lie behind this critical edition of the Journal. We also hope to situate this work in the broader social and economic contexts of business and its responsibility for contributing to the common good. Undoubtedly, business education is one of our most effective tools for transforming society for the better.
