Fr. Paul Kalenzi is a Jesuit priest from Uganda.
He currently serves as Director of Development for the Hekima University Project. Prior to joining the Jesuits, Fr. Paul attended the University of Manchester, graduating with a BA(Econ)(Hons) degree in 2001. He then worked as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London. After leaving KPMG in 2006, Fr. Paul began his Jesuit formation at Gonzaga Gonza Novitiate in Arusha, Tanzania. He then studied for an MA in Philosophy at Arrupe Jesuit University in Harare, Zimbabwe. For his regency, he worked as Director of Development and Treasurer of the Eastern Africa Province. Thereafter, he joined Centre Sèvres in Paris, France, to study theology. He completed his bachelor’s degree in 2015 and his master’s in 2017. Fr. Paul was ordained to the priesthood on July 2nd 2016. He served as Treasurer of his alma mater, Arrupe Jesuit University in Zimbabwe, after which he studied for the MS in Accounting at Boston College, graduating in May 2019. Fr. Paul worked for two years at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, in the development office and as a teacher of economics and theology. In addition to raising funds for Hekima University, Fr. Paul is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at DePaul University in Chicago.
