SRP: This is a Situational Role Play President Patrick Marzano was prompted with the following question: If you do roughly 25% of your sales through takeout and you are competing with other local pizza shops that deliver, why would your team take a hard stance on not delivering at all? Pat's response says that they need to take into account that they are a national chain; there is a lot of responsibility when it comes to delivery (e.g., vehicles, insurance, pre-vetting/recruitment... etc.) Pat mentions that the main issue was the food quality when it came to delivery. Since the food is cooked so quickly, it needs to be thin and lean. For those same reasons, their food cools down quite quickly as well. Overall, Anthony's management did not want the delivery food to be a reflection on them.
