John Katzman is a serial entrepreneur in the education realm and he is planning to launch a new business segment in the online learning space. Since John has been able to prove that great schools can create great online programs through his former company 2U, he thinks it is now time to adjust the overall execution. John’s goal is to reduce the financial burden for students while improving the overall quality. The idea is to help schools become modern universities (not help create modern programs for traditional universities like they were doing at 2U). John believes that they can easily help modernize universities by utilizing all of the available technology and content that exists already.
