Gary and Darla Beggs, after long, professional tenures in large corporations, decided to become business owners. The two experienced business professionals were looking for an opportunity to use their skills and knowledge to successfully operate their own small business and to do it on their own terms. Gary had executive experience in the trucking business, and Darla had significant HR experience at several companies. After an eight-month search, they identified two viable acquisition targets.
