The current environment forces media to proactively reach viewers by any means available, whether it’s a Facebook feed, Netflix deal, or a tweet notification that alerts fans to the live-stream. A key strategic asset MSN has built is their app which directly connects to fans and notifies them via iPhone ping that there’s something worth watching.

MSN needs a clear and nuanced approach for operating on different media platforms in a way that accomplishes the goal of reaching as large of an audience as possible, but also in a meaningful and positive manner. The former goal must not compromise the latter.
